We would like to invite you to apply for the Roxy Davis Foundation & SafeMed First Aid Course. The Roxy Davis Foundation’s 2025 Mentorship and Training programme is proudly supported by Laureus Sport for Good. This organisation equips youth with skills, leadership, and ocean-based opportunities for impact.
The course is available to 10 surfers/participants of the Roxy Davis Foundation (under 35 years) AND Volunteers (over 16 years) of the Roxy Davis Foundation that will be supporting the participants during this course.

• Relevant Skills: Emergency response, CPR, injury assessment.
• Positive Skills: Responsibility, calmness under pressure, care for others.
• Soft Skills: Quick decision-making, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Technical Skills: CPR certification, wound care, handling trauma, using first-aid equipment.

• Bites and Stings
First aid skills are highly valuable in the workforce and community, improving employability and promoting safety. This is particularly crucial for surf and ocean-based work.
